There is a gradation of Silkchon dogs by percent of parent purebreds.

F1 Silkchon are 50x50 mixes created by crossing 100% purebred Bichon-Frise with 100% purebred Silky-Terrier.

F1B Silkchons are 25x75 mixes created by crossing F1 Silkchon with one of parent breed (100% purebred Bichon-Frise or Silky-Terrier).
