There is a gradation of Scotchon dogs by percent of parent purebreds.

F1 Scotchon are 50x50 mixes created by crossing 100% purebred Bichon-Frise with 100% purebred Scottish-Terrier.

F1B Scotchons are 25x75 mixes created by crossing F1 Scotchon with one of parent breed (100% purebred Bichon-Frise or Scottish-Terrier).
