There is a gradation of Chug dogs by percent of parent purebreds.

F1 Chug are 50x50 mixes created by crossing 100% purebred Chihuahua with 100% purebred Pug.

F1B Chugs are 25x75 mixes created by crossing F1 Chug with one of parent breed (100% purebred Chihuahua or Pug).
