There is a gradation of Chi-Chi dogs by percent of parent purebreds.

F1 Chi-Chi are 50x50 mixes created by crossing 100% purebred Chihuahua with 100% purebred Chinese-Crested.

F1B Chi-Chis are 25x75 mixes created by crossing F1 Chi-Chi with one of parent breed (100% purebred Chihuahua or Chinese-Crested).
