There is a gradation of Biton dogs by percent of parent purebreds.

F1 Biton are 50x50 mixes created by crossing 100% purebred Bichon-Frise with 100% purebred Coton-De-Tulear.

F1B Bitons are 25x75 mixes created by crossing F1 Biton with one of parent breed (100% purebred Bichon-Frise or Coton-De-Tulear).
